Comment (Reference): Primary Reference = Elliott and others, 1978

Comment (Geology): Geologic Description = The country rocks in the area of this site are metamorphosed volcanic, sedimentary, and intrusive rocks of Silurian or Ordovician age (Berg and others, 1988). According to U.S. Bureau of Mines claim records (1977), this prospect, which apparently is in the metamorphic rocks, was staked for silver and gold. No other information about it has been made public.
