Comment (Workings): Workings / Exploration = Block of three lode claims staked in 1973 and active through 1975 (U.S. Bureau of Mines, 1980).

Comment (Geology): Geologic Description = No published description. The rocks in the vicinity consist of Cretaceous intermediate plutons and hornblendite (Brew, 1997 [OF 97-156-D]). No other mineral deposits are known in the vicinity other than a single gold placer claim that was staked at about the same time and was soon abandoned.
