Comment (Geology): Geologic Description = This site is described as altered zones in Tertiary volcanic and intrusive rocks (MacKevett and Holloway, 1977). The rocks in this area are mapped as Popof volcanic rocks of late Eocene to early Oligocene age (Wilson and others, 1995).
