The Unnamed (near Snow Passage) is a fluorine-fluorite mine located in Alaska.
About the MRDS Data:
All mine locations were obtained from the USGS Mineral Resources Data System. The locations and other information in this database have not been verified for accuracy. It should be assumed that all mines are on private property.
Mine Info
Satelite View
MRDS mine locations are often very general, and in some cases are incorrect. Some mine remains have been covered or removed by modern industrial activity or by development of things like housing. The satellite view offers a quick glimpse as to whether the MRDS location corresponds to visible mine remains.

Comment (Reference): Primary Reference = U. S. Bureau of Mines, 1980
Comment (Reserve-Resource): Reserves = None
Comment (Workings): Workings / Exploration = Only specific information is that a block of at least 10 claims was staked in 1981 and active through at least 1982.
Comment (Geology): Geologic Description = Only specific information is that a block of at least 10 claims was staked in 1981 and active through at least 1982 (U. S. Bureau of Mines, 1980). The regional geology in the area as mapped by Brew (1997 [OF 97-156-E]) consists of Tertiary to Quaternary rhyolite, rhyodacite, and related siliceous extrusive and intrusive rocks. However, the rocks are poorly exposed and have not been not mapped in detail; the area probably includes a variety of rock of different ages and lithology.
Comment (Production): Production Notes = None
