The Unnamed is a lead and silver mine located in Alaska.
About the MRDS Data:
All mine locations were obtained from the USGS Mineral Resources Data System. The locations and other information in this database have not been verified for accuracy. It should be assumed that all mines are on private property.
Mine Info
Satelite View
MRDS mine locations are often very general, and in some cases are incorrect. Some mine remains have been covered or removed by modern industrial activity or by development of things like housing. The satellite view offers a quick glimpse as to whether the MRDS location corresponds to visible mine remains.

Comments
Comment (Exploration): Status = Inactive
Comment (Deposit): Model Name = Polymetallic Vein (Cox and Singer, 1986; model no. 22c)
Comment (Workings): Workings / Exploration = The occurrence was first reported by U.S. Geological Survey personnel during an AMRAP investigation of the Medfra quadrangle (Patton and others, 1980). Surface samples contain 100 ppm Ag, more than 2 percent Pb, 700 ppm Sb, and 300 ppm Zn (Patton and Moll, 1983).
Comment (Deposit): Other Comments = See Won - North (MD021), Win (MD060), Gemini (MD023) and Won - South (MD024) prospects.
Comment (Reference): Primary Reference = Patton and Moll, 1983
Comment (Geology): Geologic Description = Quartz -galena vein cuts sheared argillite and hornfels (Patton and Moll, 1983). Surface samples contain values of 100 ppm Ag, more than 2 percent Pb, 700 ppm Sb, and 300 ppm Zn (Patton and Moll, 1983).
