The Unnamed (Christian Creek) is a copper mine located in Alaska.
About the MRDS Data:
All mine locations were obtained from the USGS Mineral Resources Data System. The locations and other information in this database have not been verified for accuracy. It should be assumed that all mines are on private property.
Mine Info
Satelite View
MRDS mine locations are often very general, and in some cases are incorrect. Some mine remains have been covered or removed by modern industrial activity or by development of things like housing. The satellite view offers a quick glimpse as to whether the MRDS location corresponds to visible mine remains.

Comments
Comment (Geology): Geologic Description = The prospect is a copper-bearing mineral occurrence contained within calcareous metasedimentary rocks (Hummel,1962 [MF 248]). It appears to be on the north or hanging wall side of the same fault structure that is adjacent to a nearby scheelite prospect (NM075). The prospect belongs to the same class of stratabound copper deposits as those at Copper Creek (NM053) and Copper Mountain (NM054) identified by Hummel (1975) as occurrences or prospects in silicified marble, that contain visible sulfide or other ore minerals.
Comment (Workings): Workings / Exploration = A surface prospect pit or trench may be present.
Comment (Commodity): Ore Material = copper carbonates
Comment (Geology): Age = Late Proterozoic, early Paleozoic, or mid-Cretaceous.
Comment (Exploration): Status = Probably inactive
Comment (Reference): Primary Reference = Hummel, 1962 (MF 248)
Comment (Deposit): Model Name = Carbonate-hosted, copper-bearing silica-rich rock.
Comment (Commodity): Ore Material = copper carbonates
