Mine Info
Satelite View
MRDS mine locations are often very general, and in some cases are incorrect. Some mine remains have been covered or removed by modern industrial activity or by development of things like housing. The satellite view offers a quick glimpse as to whether the MRDS location corresponds to visible mine remains.

Comment (Deposit): THIS SITE NAME WAS CREATED BY THE REPORTER OR OTHER USGS EMPLOYEE BASED ON PROXIMITY TO SOME MAJOR GEOGRAPHIC FEATURE.
Comment (Deposit): STREAM CUTS THROUGH A 400 FT EXPOSURE OF HIGHLY PYRITIZED AND ALTERED LIGHT GRAY INTRUSIVE, WHICH CONTAINS SMALL, DISSEMINATED FLAKES OF MOLYBDENITE. INTRUSIVE IS CUT BY A MAFIC DIKE AND A SHEAR ZONE.
