Comment (Deposit): FISSURE VEIN IN SHEAR ZONE BETWEEN LIGHT-COLORED QUARTZ-FELDSPAR SCHIST AND BLACK HORNBLENDE SCHIST VARIES IN WIDTH FROM 2-12 FT.. VEIN CONTAINS QUARTZ, GARNET, AMPHIBOLE, PYRRHOTITE, PYRITE, MAGNETITE, CHALCOPYRITE.

Comment (Commodity): DOUBTFUL TRACES OF AU, NI REPORTED IN ASSAY.

Comment (Location): USGS MF-425, LOC. 18; LOCATION MAY BE INACCURATE. LAND STATUS VALUE CALCULATED 6-94 USING GIS OVERLAY ANALYSIS WITH BLM 1:2,500,000 SCALE OWNERSHIP STATUS MAP (1991).

Comment (Development): DEVELOPMENT HISTORY UNKNOWN, BUT THREE ADITS WERE DRIVEN AND THREE OPEN CUTS MADE MANY YEARS BEFORE 1923. NO PRODUCTION RECORDED. PROSPECT WAS ABANDONED BY 1923.

Comment (Workings): THREE ADITS AND THREE OPEN CUTS. TWO SHORT ADITS AND THREE OPEN CUTS CROSSCUT VEIN OVER STRIKE LENGTH OF 450 FT.. MAIN ADIT IS 60 FT. BELOW VEIN OUTCROP, AND CONSISTS OF 110 FT. TUNNEL WITH 115 FT. DRIFT FOLLOWING VEIN.

Comment (Geology): VEIN PARALLELS STRIKE OF FOLIATION OF SCHIST. LIGHT-COLORED QUARTZ-FELDSPAR SCHIST, BLACK HORNBLENDE SCHIST.
