Comments

Comment (Deposit): MAGNETITE, PENTLANDITE, CHALCOPYRITE, PYRITE, AND PYRRHOTITE IRREGULARLY DISTRIBUTED IN HORNBLENDITE BODY (PROBABLY ALTERED GABBRO OR NORITE) THAT INTRUDED QUARTZITE AND SCHIST. ORE BODY IS POORLY EXPOSED, AND IS AT LEAST 265 FT. LONG BEFORE DISAPPEARING UNDER ROCK AND SOIL. WIDTH IS AT LEAST 125 FT. DEPOSIT CONTAINS DISSEMINATED BLEBS AND VEINLETS OF SULFIDES, AND A MASSIVE SULFIDE BODY 12 FT. LONG BY 4 FT. WIDE, ELLIPTICAL IN SHAPE.

Comment (Workings): SEVERAL PROSPECT PITS WERE DUG.

Comment (Geology): TERTIARY IGNEOUS INTRUSIVE (ALTERED GABBRO OR NORITE) IN CRETACEOUS BIOTITIC QUARTITE AND BIOTITE-QUARTZ SCHIST.
