Comment (Development): TUNNEL DRIVEN 110 FT. ON VEIN ABOUT 1890 IN FIRST ATTEMPT AT LODE MINING IN INTERIOR ALASKA. NOT ENOUGH ORE TO ESTABLISH A MINE.
Comment (Deposit): 2-3 FT. (AT SURFACE) WIDE VEIN OF SHEARED AND RUSTY QUARTZ IN LOWER PALEOZOIC MICACEOUS QUARTZ SCHIST. VEIN CONTAINED SMALL AMOUNTS OF GOLD AND SILVER.
