Comment (Development): PROSPECTED BY 35 FT. TRENCH AT RIGHT ANGLE TO BEDDING
Comment (Deposit): SPARSELY SCATTERED GRAINS OF SCHEELITE IN 2-IN. BAND IN SILICATED LIMESTONE NEAR CONTACT BETWEEN SCHIST AND PORPHYRITIC GRANITE.
Comment (Geology): TRENCH EXPOSED GRANITE-SCHIST CONTACT. BEDDING IS VERTICAL AND STRIKES N 35-40 E. LOG OF BOTTOM OF TRENCH IS: 20 FT. PORPHYRITIC GRANITE, 1/2 FT. GLASSY QUARTZ, 7.5 FT. HORNFELSIC MICA SCHIST, AND 7 FT. SCHEELITE-BEARING SILICATED LIMESTONE AND LIMESTONE.
Comment (Deposit): THIS PROSPECT IS THE ONLY PLACE IN THE GILMORE DOME AREA WHERE SCHEELITE-BEARING ROCK HAS BEEN EXPOSED AT THE CONTACT ZONE OF THE MAIN BODY OF GRANITE. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT; 2 UNPUB REPT
