Comment (Location): USGS MF-413 (A-1), LOC. 30. WORKINGS ON POINT OF RIDGE BETWEEN TWIN CREEK AND SKOOGY GULCH AT AN ELEVATION OF 1,700 FT. LAND STATUS VALUE CALCULATED 6-94 USING GIS OVERLAY ANALYSIS WITH BLM 1:2,500,000 SCALE OWNERSHIP STATUS MAP (1991).

Comment (Deposit): SCHIST AND QUARTZITE CUT BY GRANITE DIKE; QUARTZ VEIN ABOUT 18 IN. THICK FOLLOWS A FAULT AND IS DEFINITELY YOUNGER THAN THE GRANITE. MINERALS IN VEIN INCLUDE PYRITE, ARSENOPYRITE, GALENA, SPHALERITE, SCHEELITE, AND FREE GOLD.

Comment (Workings): WORKINGS CONSISTED OF A VERTICAL SHAFT 100 FT DEEP AND 270 FT. OF DRIFTS ON VEIN; INACCESSIBLE IN 1931.

Comment (Geology): GRANITE AT END OF ONE DRIFT. VEIN OCCUPIES A FAULT PLANE. COUNTRY ROCK IS SCHIST, QUARTZITE, AND GRANITE.

Comment (Development): MINING 1911 TO PROBABLY 1913. A 10 STAMP STRAUB MILL WAS ERECTED IN THE SPRING OF 1912; 45 TONS OF ORE MILLED WITH RESULTS CONSIDERED UNSUCCESSFUL. MINE CLOSED, 1914.
