Comment (Commodity): DEPOSIT EXTREMELY LOW GRADE
Comment (Location): USGS MF-413, LOC 31. PROSPECT ABOUT 1 MILE SE OF PEDRO DOME; WEST OF THE STEESE HIGHWAY NEAR MILE POST 18. LAND STATUS VALUE CALCULATED 6-94 USING GIS OVERLAY ANALYSIS WITH BLM 1:2,500,000 SCALE OWNERSHIP STATUS MAP (1991).
Comment (Development): SOME SURFACE WORK WAS DONE DURING THE FALL OF 1942 AND A TUNNEL WAS DUG 30 FT. INTO THE HILLSIDE DURING THE FOLLOWING WINTER.
Comment (Deposit): THIN, LESS THAN 6 IN., PEGMATITE DIKES THAT CUT GRANODIORITE CONTAIN SPARSELY SCATTERED GRAINS OF SCHEELITE. SCHEELITE IN SMALL STOCKWORKS OF QUARTZ STRINGERS CUTTING FINE-GRAINED QUARTZ DIORITE; ALSO OCCURS SPARINGLY IN QUARTZ DIORITE NEAR QUARTZ STRINGERS.
Comment (Geology): OPEN CUT AND TRENCHES EXPOSE GRANODIORITE CRISSCROSSED BY PEGMATITE DIKES DERIVED FROM PORPHYRITIC GRANITE.
