Comment (Location): USGS MF-413, LOC. 20. MINE ON DIVIDE BETWEEN FLUME, FOX, AND SEATTLE CREEKS, ABOUT 1.5 MILES NW OF PEDRO CAMP. LAND STATUS VALUE CALCULATED 6-94 USING GIS OVERLAY ANALYSIS WITH BLM 1:2,500,000 SCALE OWNERSHIP STATUS MAP (1991).

Comment (Development): EARLY DEVELOPMENT IN 1911-12 AND POSSIBLY SOME GOLD MINED. SMALL-SCALE SURFACE PROSPECTING AND MINING IN 1950'S. SOME SURFACE AND UNDERGROUND EXPLORATION IN 1966-67.

Comment (Deposit): SULFIDE-BEARING VEINS, GOLD-SULFIDE-QUARTZ VEINS, AND CONTIGOUS ROCKS IN SILICIFIED SHEAR ZONES IN GRANITIC ROCKS AND SCHIST ROOF PENDANTS CONTAIN ARGENTIFEROUS GALENA, STIBNITE, GOLD, PYRITE, SCHEELITE, POWELLITE, SPHALERITE, TETRAHEDRITE, AND POSSIBLY MOLYBDENITE. NW TRENDING VEINS FILL FISSURES INDUCED BY PEDRO DOME GRANITIC INTRUSIVE TO NE. SCHEELITE AND POWELLITE LIMITED TO THIN CALCITE VEINLETS AND COATINGS ALONG JOINTS AND FRACTURE PLANES.

Comment (Geology): TRENCHING EXPOSED ROOF ZONE (?) OF QUARTZ MONZONITE PLUTONS, ROOF PENDANTS OF SILICIFIED SCHIST, AND AURIFEROUS QUARTZ STRINGERS AND VEINS. ALTERED ZONE 30 FT. WIDE IN BOTH SCHIST AND QUARTZ MONZONITE; BOTH ROCK TYPES SHEARED AND SILICIFIED, VEINS BORDER BOTH SIDES OF ALTERED ZONE IN SCHIST.
