Comment (Development): MINED FROM 1907 TO 1941 WITH A FEW INACTIVE YEARS; SOME PRODUCTION, 1948-54. WORKED BY UNDERGROUND DRIFT MINING IN LOWER PART OF VALLEY, AND BY DRIFTING AND LATER DREDGING IN UPPER PART OF VALLEY.
Comment (Deposit): GOLD MAINLY IN BENCH PLACERS; SOME GOLD IN CREEK. IN LOWER PART OF VALLEY GROUND IS 85-175 FT. DEEP. PROSPECT SHAFTS ALONG BENCH EAST OF CREEK.
Comment (Workings): ALLUVIUM GENERALLY FROZEN.
