Comment (Deposit): GOLD ON CLAYEY GRAVEL FALSE BEDROCK; GOLD ACCOMPANIED BY CONSIDERABLE MAGNETITE AND FEW IF ANY SULFIDE MINERALS.
Comment (Workings): A FEW HOLES WERE SUNK ABOUT A MILE FROM THE MOUTH OF THE STREAM; UPPER HOLES 35 FT. DEEP; 1/2 MILE DOWNSTREAM BEDROCK NOT REACHED AT 70 FT.
