Comment (Exploration): Status = Inactive

Comment (Workings): Workings / Exploration = Site visited and sampled by U.S. Geological Survey (Miller and Ferrians, 1968).

Comment (Reference): Primary Reference = Miller and Ferrians, 1968

Comment (Geology): Geologic Description = This occurrence consists of molybdenite-bearing, quartz veins that cut ?Jurassic-Cretaceous andesite near the contact with granodiorite of the Cretaceous Zane Hills pluton (Miller and Ferrians, 1968). The quartz veins are up to 2 feet thick. A grab sample from a mineralized vein contained 0.2% Mo.

Comment (Deposit): Model Name = Molybdenite-bearing quartz vein.

Comment (Geology): Age = Jurassic-Cretaceous or younger.
