Comment (Geology): Geologic Description = Bedrock in the area is undifferentiated Cretaceous granite that may contain uranium-bearing minerals. No outcrops are present at the occurrence. Uranothorianite was identified in a pan concentrate sample of stream gravels (Gault and others, 1953).
