Comment (Workings): Workings / Exploration = Pan concentrate samples were collected and analyzed for uranium content by the U.S. Geological Survey in 1947 (Gault and others, 1953).

Comment (Geology): Geologic Description = This occurrence consists of Cretaceous granite that may contain uranium-bearing minerals. Uranothorianite and trace of thorite were found in stream gravel concentrate samples (Gault and others, 1953).
