Mine Info
Satelite View
MRDS mine locations are often very general, and in some cases are incorrect. Some mine remains have been covered or removed by modern industrial activity or by development of things like housing. The satellite view offers a quick glimpse as to whether the MRDS location corresponds to visible mine remains.

Comments
Comment (Workings): Workings / Exploration = Brief field examination and sampling. Sample (93TL 105c) yielded 20 ppb Au and sample 93TL 105b yielded 100 ppm Pb and 2,000 ppm Ba.
Comment (Geology): Geologic Description = Mineralization occurs in dark green to black andesite(?) containing minor amounts of sulfide minerals. Locally, volcanic rocks are brecciated, silica-cemented and contain druzzy quartz. Minor quartz stringers locally cut volcanic rocks. Exposure is is a quarry located on the contact between volcanic rocks and fine- to medium-grained hornblende granodiorite porphyry.
Comment (Exploration): Status = Inactive
Comment (Geology): Age = Tertiary
