The Unnamed is a gold and silver mine located in Alaska.
About the MRDS Data:
All mine locations were obtained from the USGS Mineral Resources Data System. The locations and other information in this database have not been verified for accuracy. It should be assumed that all mines are on private property.
Mine Info
Satelite View
MRDS mine locations are often very general, and in some cases are incorrect. Some mine remains have been covered or removed by modern industrial activity or by development of things like housing. The satellite view offers a quick glimpse as to whether the MRDS location corresponds to visible mine remains.

Comments
Comment (Geology): Geologic Description = Christie (1974) reports a 3,000 by 1,000+ ft (900 by 300+ m), elongate to the northeast, color anomaly in volcanic rocks, mainly agglomerate and flows(?). Pyrite is disseminated and to a minor degree localized in fractures in the volcanic rocks. Maximum total sulfide content is 2 to 3 percent. No intrusive rocks were found.
Comment (Deposit): Model Number = 22c, 25
Comment (Deposit): Model Name = Epithermal gold vein, polymetallic vein
Comment (Reference): Primary Reference = Christie, 1974
Comment (Workings): Workings / Exploration = Brief reconnaissance geologic mapping and collection of a few silt samples reported by Christie (1974). Silver to 1.3 ppm, otherwise background levels for copper, molybdenum, zinc, and gold.
Comment (Exploration): Status = Inactive
Comment (Geology): Age = Pliocene or younger
