Satelite View
MRDS mine locations are often very general, and in some cases are incorrect. Some mine remains have been covered or removed by modern industrial activity or by development of things like housing. The satellite view offers a quick glimpse as to whether the MRDS location corresponds to visible mine remains.

Comment (Reference): Primary Reference = Barker (1981)
Comment (Geology): Geologic Description = Rhyolite dikes <100 feet thick intrude argillite in a sequence of phyllite, siltstone, and quartzite. Small gossans occur in argillite; pyrite locally occurs in quartzite (Barker, 1981, p. 81-82).
Comment (Deposit): Model Name = Polymetallic lodes (veins?) associated with rhyolite dikes
Comment (Exploration): Status = Inactive
