Comments
Comment (Workings): Workings / Exploration = Unknown
Comment (Reference): Primary Reference = Nelson and others, 1985
Comment (Geology): Geologic Description = The only information on the site is that lode claims were staked in granite porphyry (U.S. Bureau of Mines, 1973). The granite porphyry has phenocrysts of quartz, plagioclase, and potassic feldspar up to 4 mm across in a groundmass of quartz, potassic feldspar, and plagioclase grains up to 1 mm across (Nelson and others, 1983; unit TKi10).
Comment (Reserve-Resource): Reserves = No reserves
Comment (Production): Production Notes = No production
Comment (Deposit): Other Comments = Site is in Lake Clark National Park and Preserve.
Comment (Deposit): Model Name = Unknown
Comment (Geology): Age = Granite in vicinity is Cretaceous to Tertiary (Nelson and others, 1983; unit TKi10).
