Comment (Reserve-Resource): Reserves = No reserves
Comment (Production): Production Notes = No production
Comment (Reference): Primary Reference = Nelson and others, 1985
Comment (Geology): Geologic Description = Prospect, which includes fifteen placer gold claims, occurs at the contact of a sedimentary rocks and quartz monzonite. The sedimentary package includes: interbedded medium-gray, medium- to fine-grained lithic graywacke, silty sandstone, black shale, and local conglomerate (Nelson and others, 1983; unit KJs). The quartz monzonite is part of the numerous small intrusive bodies found in the central part of the Lake Clark 1:250,000 scale quadrangle mapped and identified by Eakins and others (1978). One of these plutons yielded a potassium-argon biotite age of 71.3 +/- 2.1 m.y. (Eakins and others, 1978).?
Comment (Deposit): Other Comments = None.
Comment (Deposit): Model Name = Placer Au (Cox and Singer, 1986; model 39a)
Comment (Workings): Workings / Exploration = Unknown
Comment (Geology): Age = Quaternary.
