Comment (Geology): 6 FT THICK VEIN ON MOTHER LODE, OCCURS IN LENTICULAR FORMS NOT CONTINUING FOR ANY GREAT DISTANCE BUT INVARIABLY RETURNING IN SIMILAR VEINS ALONG SAME FISSURE. AT 550 FT DEPTH IN MAIN SHAFT QTZ SAID TO GIVE OUT TO FAULT GOUGE WHICH 160 FT N OF SHAFT AT 500 FT LEVEL IS 5 FT THICK W SLICKENSIDES ON BOTH WALLS.

Comment (Workings): 900 FT INCLINED SHAFT W LEVELS AT 100 FT, 200 FT, 900 FT. WINZE FROM 900 FT LEVEL.
