Comment (Development): Tunnel is driven about 3450 ft. east; 5 levels above the tunnel have extensive drifts and crosscuts.

Comment (Geology): Replacement ore occurs in sheared dolomite adjacent to rhyolite porphyry dike along Star fault.

Comment (Location): About 10 miles north of Sargents, at the south end of Whitepine and east side of Tomichi Creek, in the SE/4 sec. 34, T 50 N, R 5 E.

Comment (Production): From 1901 to 1950, nearly 100,000 tons of ore were produced that averaged 0.01 oz/ton gold, 4.77 oz/ton silver, 0.12% copper, 10.43% lead, and 12.88% zinc. (Sunshine files)

Comment (Production): Production from 1901 to 1950 totaled 99,497 tons of ore, and metals recovered were: 724 oz. of gold, 474,160 oz. silver, 232,783 lb. copper, 20,751,676 lb. lead, and 25,629,942 lb zinc. (USGS Prof. Paper 289)
