Comment (Deposit): VEIN OCCURS IN A FISSURE ALONG A GRANITE-QUARTZITE CONTACT WITH A FAULT. VEIN RANGES FROM 8 IN. TO 14 IN. IN WIDTH AND IS EXPOSED FOR ABOUT 150 FT. LATERALLY. FOOTWALL IS GRANITE AND HANGING WALL IS LIMONITE GOUGE AND QUARTZITE.
Comment (Workings): WORKINGS REPORTED IN 1966 CONSISTED OF A TUNNEL 150 FT. IN LENGTH WITH A 50 FT. WINZE, A VERTICAL SHAFT 120 FT. DEEP AND A FEW SHALLOW PITS.
Comment (Geology): FOR GENERAL GEOLOGY SEE SAN ANDRES MOUNTAINS DISTRICT.
Comment (Location): MINE IS LOCATED ON THE WHITE SANDS MISSLE RANGE AT THE NORTHERN END OF THE SAN ANDRES MOUNTAINS NEAR THE MOUTH OF JOHNSON PARK CANYON.
