Comments
Comment (Location): THE PROSPECT IS DIRECTLY NORTH OF THE QUARTER CORNER OF SECTIONS 31 AND 32.
Comment (Development): THE PROPERTY CONSISTS OF 19 CONTIGUOUS UNPATENTED CLAIMS CALLED THE RIDGE GROUP AND PLAINS GROUP. ORIGINALLY STAKED FOR MANGANESE, FLUORITE OCCURS IN ONE SMALL PORTION OF THE BLOCK. A SMALL AMOUNT OF MN WAS MINED BETWEEN THE LATE 1930'S AND 1957.
Comment (Deposit): MANGANES DEPOSITION OCCURS IN STEEPLY DIPPING SHEAR ZONES CUTTING RHYOLITE PORPHYRY. ABOUT 400 FT ENE FROM THE MAIN MANGANESE WORKINGS, A 2 TO 18 IN VERTICAL SHEAR ZONE THAT STRIKES NE CONTAINS FLUORITE FOR 1150 FT. BOTH COARSE AND FINELY CRYSTALLINE GREEN FLUORITE WAS DEPOSITED IN CREVICES ALONG WITH QUARTZ. IT IS ESTIMATED THAT HALF THE ROCK VOLUME CONSISTS OF RHYOLITIC DILUTENT IN THE WIDER PROTIONS OF THE SHEAR ZONE. FLUORSPAR MINERALIZATION TAPERS TO STRINGERS TO THE NE AND DISAPPEARS SW.
Comment (Workings): WORKINGS ON THE FLUORITE OCCURRENCE CONSIST OF 3 SMALL EXPLORATION PITS.
Comment (Deposit): Discovery Year: LATE 1930'S
