Comments
Comment (Workings): OLDER WORKINGS ON THE RED CLOUD AND DEADWOOD CLAIMS WERE REPORTED TO BE CAVED IN 1959 BUT THE MAIN SHAFT WAS MORE THAN 300 FT. DEEP WITH AT LEAST 1500 FT. OF DRIFTS IN 1930. WORKINGS ON THE CONQUEROR NO. 9 CLAIM WERE REPORTED IN 1959 TO CONSIST OF A 110 FT. INCLINED SHAFT AND ADIT PARTIALLY DESTROYED BY LATER OPEN-PIT MINING.
Comment (Location): ACCURATE LOCATION IS SHOWN ON THE ROUGH MOUNTAIN TOPOGRAPHIC QUADRANGLE BUT IS INCORRECTLY LABELED AS THE CORONA QUEEN MINE. THE CORONA QUEEN MINE IS LOCATED ABOUT 6000 FT. NORTHEAST OF THE RED CLOUD MINE.
Comment (Deposit): TWO PATENTED CLAIMS MINERAL SURVEY NUMBERS 790 AND 791 COVERING A TOTAL OF 37.508 ACRES AND ONE UNPATENTED CLAIM.
