Comments
Comment (Workings): WORKINGS IN 1961 CONSISTED OF PROSPECT PITS 10-12 FEET WIDE. WOODWARD (GM-25, 1972) REPORTS THE PROSPECTS WERE BEING WORKED BY THE MORNINGSTAR MINING CORPORATION. IN 1983 COSME HERRERA PLACED THE PROSPECTS UNDER CLAIM.
Comment (Geology): THE PRECAMBRIAN IN THIS AREA HAS NOT BEEN GIVEN A FORMAL NAME.
Comment (Production): IT IS UNDETERMINED WETHER THERE HAS BEEN ANY PRODUCTION FROM THIS MINE.
Comment (Deposit): THE DEPOSIT CONSISTS OF A VEIN 3 TO 4 FEET WIDE OF SHEARED GRANITE. THERE ARE SCALES, FILMS, AND IRREGULAR VEINS OF BRIGHT NATIVE GOLD AND LOCAL SMALL NODULES OR PODS OF MALACHITE. THERE IS FOUR-FEET BETWEEN TWO MAIN FAULTS THAT FORM THE FOOTWALL AND A POSITION INTERMEDIATE BETWEEN THE FOOTWALL AND AN ILL-DEFINED HANGING WALL.
Comment (Location): LOCATION IS ACCURATE FOR PROSPECT PIT ; INFO FROM LAND.ST :1979
