Comment (Deposit): TUNNELS TRENDS A FEW DEGREES WEST OF NORTH FOR ABOUT 2500 FT. IT CUTS SEVERAL LAMPROPHYRE DIKES IN THE OPHIR FM. AT 1800 FT FROM THE PORTAL, IN THE WATSON CLAIMS, IT CUTS A NE STRIKING FISSURE CONTAINING PYRITE. A SHORT DRIFT AND RAISE EXPLORE THIS FISSURE. ANOTHER FISSURE IS CUT AT 2300 FT. FROM THE PORTAL AND IS FOLLOWED FOR MORE THAN 900 FT. THIS FISSURE IS FILLED WITH A LAMPROPHYRE DIKE FOR PART OF ITS LENGTH AND IS MINERALIZED IN AREAS. A RAISE NEARLY UNDERNEATH THE OLD TOLEDO SHAFT CONNECTS THE FREDERICK WITH THE COLUMBUS-REXALL WORKINGS. THE HELLGATE DRIFT REACHES THE ALTA THRUST ZONE.
