Comments

Comment (Production): JOHN J. RATTO AND C. R. DAGGETT WERE PRODUCING SOME VERY GOOD ORE FROM THE 300 FT. LEVEL OF THIS MINE IN 1924. WORKED BY SIERRA METALS IN 1927. NOTE THAT REFERENCES SHOW LOCATION IN SEC. 9, 5N, 11E, BUT THE GEOGRAPHICAL DESCRIPTION OF LOCATION IS AS SHOWN ABOVE. UNPUB. MAP FOR CONS. DIV. SHOWS A PROSPECT IN N 1/2 NE 1/4 BUT THIS WOULD NOT SEEM TO BE CORRECT LOCATION. TOPO MAPS SUTTER CREEK 1962 & JACKSON, SHOW A RATTO MINE IN SW 1/4 SEC. 16 THIS TP. MAYBE THAT IS THE CORRECT LOCATION OF THE SUNSET MINE

Comment (Workings): WORKINGS AT LEAST 300 FT. DEEP
