Comment (Deposit): 3 ORE BODIES, LARGEST IS THE DISCOVERY, THE OTHER TWO, LOCATED BETWEEN 250 - 375 FT. LEVELS. THESE LENSES HAD AN EASTWARD PITCH OF 65 - 70 DEGREES.
Comment (Workings): THREE SHAFTS - TWO ARE CAVED;FOUR MAIN LEVELS 100 , 250 , 300 , 375 FT. 1942 - 43 MOUNTAIN COPPER CO., LTD, REHABILITATED THE 3RD SHAFT 280 FT. DEEP AND DRILLED 10 TEST HOLES ON 250 FT. LEVEL.
Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: ROCKS IN VICINITY OF THE MINE CONSISTS OF ANDESITIC LAVAS WHICH ARE APHANTIC IN SOME PLACES VESICULAR OR AMYGDALOIDAL. THESE VOLCANIC ROCKS HAVE UNDERGONE LOW-GRADE METAMORPHISM TO GREENSTONES AND GREEN SCHISTS. MINE AREA IS A SHEAR ZONE 6 - 30 FT. WIDE IN QUARTZ PORPHYRY AND FELSITE.
