SHALE PARTINGS ARE LOCALLY REPLACED BY PSILOMELANE. ORE APPEARS TO BE PRIMARY, CONTEMPORANEOUS WITH DEPOSITION OF SILICA THAT FORMED THE CHERTS.
Comment (Production): PRODUCTION IN 1867 OF POSSIBLE 200 TONS OF ORE FROM THIS DEPOSIT HAS BEEN REPORTED.
