Comment (Deposit): HOLDINGS OF 96 ACRES. APPARENTLY HOLDINGS INCLUDE THE BISMARCK, GOLD REEF, HILLSIDE EXT. AND HILLSIDE EXT. #3, AND THE MARTINEZ. POSSIBLY INCLUDES OTHER CLAIMS AS P. 430, REPORT OF STATE MINERALOGIST XXII SHOWS AREA OF 132 ACRES.
Comment (Production): OPERATED BY HILLSIDE GOLD MNG. CO. IN 1915. WORKED ON SMALL SCALE AROUND 1926 AND AGAIN DURING EARLY 1930'S. IN 1937 SOME DEVELOPMENT WORK DONE ON LOWER WORKINGS AND A SMALL AMOUNT OF ORE WAS PRODUCED. ORE MINED IN 1917 YIELDED $4.12 PER TON.
