Comment (Workings): A 2-COMPARTMENT SHAFT, 230 FT. DEEP WITH LEVELS AT 100 AND 200 FT. AND APPROX. 350 FT. OF DRIFTS

Comment (Production): ACTIVE 1900-05 WHEN IT WAS DEVELOPED BY SHALLOW WORKINGS. SHAFT DEEPENED LATER AND SEVERAL HUNDRED FT. OF DRIFTS WERE DRIVEN WITH ORE CONTAINING 5-9% COPPER AND SOME GOLD AND SILVER MINED. REOPENED IN 1953 AND SEVERAL THOUSAND TONS OF ORE WERE MINED BUT MINE SHUT DOWN IN 1954. REOPENED IN 1956 & RECORDED PRODUCTION FOR 1956 IS 1,400 TONS OF COPPER ORE SHIPPED TO MILL FOR TREATMENT. MINOR AMOUNTS OF GOLD AND SILVER ARE RECOVERED.
