Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: ORE IS IN 2 ZONES OF MASSIVE RADIOLARIAN CHERT STAINED WITH MANGANESE OXIDES. THE ZONES STRIKE N 30 W AND ARE NEARLY VERTICAL. THEY ARE ENCLOSED CONFORMABLY WITHIN THIN-BEDDED RED AND GRAY CHERT.
Comment (Deposit): THE THICKNESS OF THE ORE BED RANGES FROM 2 TO 4 FEET AND THE EXPOSURES HAVE A TOTAL LENGTH OF 75 FEET. AVERAGE GRADE IS ESTIMATED TO BE 30% MANGANESE AND 30% SILICA.
