CHERT IS FAULTED AGAINST A FRESH PORPHYRITIC GREENSTONE AT THE N.E. END. THE STRIKE IS N 45 W, AND THE DIP 35 N.E. THE FAULT IS VERTICAL AND STRIKES N 80 W. SOME PSILOMELANE AND PYROLUSITE ARE PRESENT ALONG SEAMS AND SHEAR ZONES, BUT THE ORE IS MAINLY MANGANIFEROUS CHERT.
