Comment (Workings): IN 1914, A 45-FT. INCLINED SHAFT AND A 50-FT. OPEN CUT.

Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: SERPENTINE FOOTWALL, SLATE HANGING WALLS. 2 QUARTZ VEINS OCCUR AT CONTACT VARYING FROM 6 - 8 FT. THICK. THE ROUGHLY PARALLEL VEINS ARE ON EITHER SIDE OF A DIKE LIKE INTRUSION OF SERPENTINE.
