Comment (Deposit): A PATENTED CLAIM OF 20 ACRES AND SEVERAL UNPATENTED CLAIMS. ORIGINALLY INCLUDED THE JUNIPER, INDEPENDENCE, STARLIGHT (PATRICIA) AND MT. VIEW LODE CLAIMS AND THE INDEPENDENCIO PLACER CLAIM. (ONE OF THE CLAIMS APPARENTLY WAS RENAMED THE CHARLES.)

Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: MASSIVE AND SCHISTOSE GREENSTONE DERIVED FROM PYROXENE ANDESITE.

Comment (Production): RANGE OF ORE GRADE FROM 14.4 OZ AU, 4 OZ AG PER TON TO 0.35 OZ AU/TON. ACTIVE 1882 . LAST OPERATION 1933 - 1937 . PRODUCTION RECORDS ARE INCOMPLETE.

Comment (Deposit): VEINS, TWO SETS 1 - 5 FT THICK. SOME VEIN OFFSHOOTS STRIKE NE WITH STEEPER DIP THAN MAIN VEINS.
