Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: SANDY METASEDIMENTS HAVE BEEN INTRUDED BY GREENSTONE DIKES AND SILLS 1-3 FT THICK. VEIN AVE 1.5-2 FT THICK, CHIEFLY BANDED QUARTZ. ORE SHOOTS ARE 30 - 75 FT WIDE AND PITCH ABOUT 45 DEG. STRIKE AND DIP OF SLATY CLEAVAGE NEAR THE SHAFT IS ROUGHLY PARALLEL TO THE VEIN AND TO THE BEDDING PLANES.
Comment (Deposit): ONE PATENTED FRACTIONAL CLAIM OF 11 ACRES AND 2 UNPATENTED CLAIMS. VEIN MATTER IS CHIEFLY BANDED QUARTZ CARRYING FREE GOLD AND A LITTLE PYRITE.
Comment (Production): NOTHING IS RECORDED OF EARLY PRODUCTION. IN THE LATE 1920'S ABOUT 2500 TONS OF ORE WAS MINED WHICH RAN $10 TO $11 PER TON WITH SOME DEVELOPMENT ROCK RUNNING $8. TOTAL PRODUCTION PROBABLY DOES NOT EXCEED $50,000 .
