A SMALL PRODUCTION WAS RECORDED 1940-42 WHEN 942 TONS OF ORE YIELDED ONLY 133 OZ. GOLD AND 33 OZ. SILVER. LITTLE OR NO WORK DONE SINCE 1942. TOTAL ESTIMATED PRODUCTION IS ESTIMATED TO BE ABOUT $500,000.
Comment (Workings): PRINCIPAL WORKINGS ARE A 900-FT. STEEPLY INCLINED SHAFT W/4 LEVELS, 600-FT. CROSSCUT ADIT, DRIFTS, OTHER CROSSCUT ADITS OF UNKNOWN LENGTHS.
Comment (Deposit): THREE PATENTED CLAIMS, THE WESTWARD, ALABAMA AND WHITLOCK, AGGREGATING 47.68 ACRES. ORE MINERALS ARE CHIEFLY PYRITE AND MINOR CHALCOPYRITE WITH NATIVE GOLD, BUT LOCALLY ARGENTIFEROUS GALENA IS PROMINENT.
