Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: FIVE ROUGHLY PARALLEL NARROW QUARTZ VEINS CUT A SMALL, ROUGHLY CIRCULAR INTRUSION OF GRANITIC ROCK 3/4 MI. INDIAMETER WHICH HAS INTRUDED SCHISTOSE & MASSIVE GREENSTONE. VEIN MATTER IS RIBBON QUARTZ CONTAIN THIN SHEETS OF ALTERED WALL ROCK.

Comment (Deposit): PROPERTY IS ON PATENTED AGRICULTURAL LAND. ERODED PARTS OF THE VEIN APPARENTLY YIELDED CONSIDERABLE PLACER GOLD PRIOR TO 1880 . PROSPECT SHOW NE 1/4 EL PORTAL ( 1947 ) 15 MIN. QUAD. MAY BE THIS MINE.
