Comment (Deposit): FOUR CLAIMS. ORE EXPOSED ON THE DUMP SHOWS GALENA, PYRITE, ARSENOPYRITE AND ARGENTITE. PROUSTITE, PYRARGYRITE, NATIVE SILVER AND GOLD ARE ALSO REPORTED IN THE ORE FROM THE MINE. IN 1939 ORE WAS SAID TO AVERAGE 15-20 OZ. SILVER AND 0.15 OZ. GOLD PER TON. THE TONNAGE OF ORE MINED OR BLOCKED OUT AT THAT TIME WAS ABOUT 4000 TONS. NOTE: THERE IS A PROSPECT SHOWN NEAR (100' FROM LINE) THE E1/4 COR. OF SEC. 8 ON U.S. GEOL. SURVEY QUAD. MARIPOSA, CALIF., 1948 WHICH IS PROBABLY THE LOCATION OF THIS MINE. 17TH REPT. ST. MIN. P. 138 (SHOWS LOC. IN 20-5S-19E)

Comment (Production): WORKED IN A SMALL WAY PRIOR TO 1927. A SMALL PRODUCTION WAS RECORDED FOR THE YEARS 1909, 1920, 1921. A SMALL PRODUCTION REALIZED IN 1930, MOST OF THE SILVER PRODUCTION BEING IN THAT YEAR. WORKINGS PARTLY CAVED IN SEPTEMBER, 1954.

Comment (Workings): A 257-FT. INCLINED SHAFT, DRIFT ADIT; DRIFTING ON 2 LEVELS AGGREGATES 828 FT.
