Comment (Production): NO PRODUCTION. IDLE. THE ORE RUNS FROM 5 TO 20 PERCENT MANGANESE - GENERALLY LESS THAN 10 PERCENT. THE SILICA CONTENT IS ABOUT 40 PERCENT.

Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: 3 FT. OF SOFT SILICEOUS IRON ORE IN THIN BEDDED RED RADIOLARIAN CHERT WHICH IS BELOW GREENSTONE BODY. MASSIVE IRON OXIDE HAS FRACTURES FILLED WITH MANGANESE OXIDE, AND A FEW SMALL POCKETS OF MANGANESE OXIDE ARE PRESENT.
