Comments
Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: MAGNETITE AND HEMATITE IN A MATRIX CHIEFLY OF GOUGE AND TALC ALONG A FAULT WHICH STRIKES N. 50 DEG. E., DIPS 75 DEG. SE., AND CUTS SCHIST AND HORNFELS. ALTERNATING LAYERS OF EPIDOTE-GARNET TACTITE WITH THE IRON-BEARING MINERALS SUGGEST THE DEPOSIT IS LOCALIZED ALONG CALCAREOUS LAYERS AND IS CONTACT METAMORPHIC IN ORIGIN. SHORT ADIT AND MODERATE AMOUNT OF BULLDOZER SCRAPING. PROBABLY TOO SMALL TO DEVELOP.
