Comment (Deposit): SEVERAL SHALLOW TRENCHES WHICH DID NOT REACH BEDROCK WERE DUG ON THE EAGLE, HAMPTON, AND LOST HORSE CLAIMS. A QUARTER TO HALF A TON OF FLOAT WAS COLLECTED ON THE VIOLA CLAIM. PATCHES OF FLOAT ON THE LIZZIE P. CLAIM APPARENTLY WERE LEFT UNTOUCHED.
