Comments
Comment (Workings): SHAFT 20 FT. DEEP WITH SHORT DRIFT AND UNDERHAND STOPE AT THE BOTTOM.
Comment (Production): ABOUT 40 LONG TONS HAD BEEN MINED WHEN PROPERTY WAS EXAMINED IN 1918. LESSEES REPORTED THAT THEY MINED AND SHIPPED 43 LONG TONS OF ORE CONTAINING 34.27 PERCENT CR2O3 IN 1918. MOST OF THIS ORE PROBABLY CAME FROM THIS DEPOSIT, THOUGH SOME MAY HAVE COME FROM THE DAVEY PROPERTY IN THIS SAME SECTION, WHICH WAS ALSO LEASED BY THE JENKINS.
Comment (Deposit): COMPRISES 10 ACRES OF LAND LEASED FROM T. R. GEACH. THERE WAS AN OUTCROP OF CHROMITE ABOUT 50 FT. ALONG THE STRIKE FROM THE SHAFT BUT IT IS NOT KNOWN IF ANY WORK WAS DONE AT THIS PLACE.
