Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: INTERVOLCANIC CHANNEL THOUGH TO FOLLOW NORTHWEST SIDE OF ROCKY RIDGE (BOULDER RIDGE). GRAVEL IS WELL WASHED, CONSISTING OF ANDESITE, QUARTZ, AND GREENSTONE PEBBLES; THICKNESS RANGES UP TO 12 FT. AND IT IS DIRECTLY COVERED BY COMPACT TUFFACEOUS BRECCIA.

Comment (Deposit): WORKINGS ON THIS CHANNEL FOUND TO BE POOR; RICH SPOTS OF $5 TO $9 A TON WERE STRUCK ON THE RIM.
