Comment (Deposit): HAS BEEN WORKED TO SOME EXTENT IN ITS NORTHERLY PART. A MILL ERECTED IN 1893 AND A LARGE BODY OF LOW-GRADE ORE WAS DEVELOPED. RICH BUNCHES WITH MUCH TETRAHEDRITE OCCASIONALLY OCCUR.
Comment (Workings): SHAFT, 180 FT. DEEP; 800-FT. TUNNEL.
Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: VEIN WITH A WEST-SOUTHWEST DIRECTION AND SOUTHERLY DIP RANGING FROM 30 DEG. TO 60 DEG. IT CAN BE TRACED ONLY ABOUT 600 FT. FROM THE CONTACT LINE WHERE IT APPARENTLY SPLITS UP INTO SEVERAL MINOR VEINS. COUNTRY ROCK IS GRANODIORITE. VEIN CARRIES FREE GOLD AND PYRITE.
